Position: Supply Chain and Global Logistics Coordinator

Position Type: Full-Time

Experience: Associates Degree in a related field and 3-5 years of relevant related experience.

The Supply Chain and Global Logistics Coordinator will:

Responsibilities

Shipping / Receiving and Logistics

· Manages scheduling of all shipments to ensure on time and efficient delivery.

· Generates shipping documents (Packing lists, UPS, FedEx, etc.); Inspects all outgoing shipment to ensure accuracy.

· Schedules pickups, follows up on timelines and communicates results.

· Qualifying and inspecting received parts and components.

· Available for after hour calls with shipping partners as needed.

Import / Export

· Generate all exports and imports required documentation. Incoming and outgoing to global locations.

· Work closely with freight forwarders regarding import / exports of air shipments.

· Schedules and coordinates air freights. Arranges pick up and deliveries and follows up status of overseas shipments.

· Manage incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.

Purchasing Coordination

· Generates/Updates purchase orders, as needed.

· Corresponds with sales team regarding new orders, delivery status, order changes, shipping documents, etc.

· Monitors preparedness for receiving incoming shipments.

Inventory Management

· Overseeing, coordinating and quality control all aspects of production and assembly.

· Qualifying and inspecting received parts and components.

· Conduct inventory control and other supply chain tasks as required.

· Other duties as assigned.

Skills

· Possess strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills.

· Previous experience with dealing with overseas manufacturers and/or vendors.

· Must have a strong attention to detail and follow-up skills to ensure accuracy.

· Pro-active self-starter with the ability to multi-task.

· Familiar with hardware specifications, manufacturing procedures, and quality control.

· Excellent people skills and the ability to adapt in a constantly changing environment.

· Intermediate to Advanced knowledge in MS Office Suite.

Education and Experience Requirements

Associates Degree in a related field and 3-5 years of relevant related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
